Well, it’s time once again to share what I’ve been reading this month! Prepare yourselves, because this has been an especially good month in terms of quality, if not quantity. Here are two of my favorites…
Canellian Eye: Prophecy, Caroline Noe
This book started off slowly, but it truly picked up pace in a gradual, heart-pounding way! The Chosen few of a dying planet and their prophet set off into outer space in search of their promised land, but what they find is very different from what they envisioned. While the beginning is a bit slow for my taste, the buildup and later heavy material is definitely worth it! This book just about broke my heart. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book with such an epic scale yet maintaining a feeling that’s deeply personal. I can’t wait to see how the story continues…
Chord, Rick Barot
This is a beautiful collection of poetry filled with vivid imagery imbued with meaning! I enjoyed every single page, and I highly recommend everyone read this fantastic collection!
You guys need to read these two books ASAP! Check out Rick Barot’s other works while you’re at it, along with Caroline Noe’s wonderful books.
