Goodreads

I can’t believe I haven’t talked about Goodreads yet!

You guys, if you love everything that has to do with books, then you will love Goodreads. You probably already know all about it, as it’s the website for bookworms like myself. Here, you’ll find literally thousands of books, their descriptions, authors, rating systems, comments, communities, and more…

Goodreads is mainly a book review and recommendation site, with a database of books you can add to your virtual “shelf.” You can organize your shelves any way you want and even create to-read lists if you find books you haven’t gotten around to reading yet.

One of my favorite features on Goodreads is the comment section, as it provides a top-notch place to discuss the book you just read and loved — or hated. It’s a bit like the book review blog I’m running with my buddies over on Spoilers: friendly, funny, and oh-so-gushy.

As a reader, the site is super fun and never boring. Connect with friends, keep track of your favorite reads, vote on the Goodreads choice, and participate in the yearly Reading Challenge (I myself have a goal of 50 books to read in 2019).

Goodreads has useful features for authors too. You can upload your book, connect with other authors, link your blog, and open a Q&A forum.

Honestly, Goodreads is just too fun!

So, if you’re a reader looking for your next favorite book or an author hoping to connect with more writers, Goodreads is the place for you.

I don’t think there are many people who don’t already know about Goodreads to some extent. But it’s good to point out some of its many helpful and fun features. I’ve been using the site for years, and even I haven’t discovered everything yet!

Happy reading, folks!
